Dealing with reservations and schedules in a different language can be quite a daunting task. Use this list of words to get through any reservation, whether it be bus or train.

予約 (yoyaku) – reservation
路線 (rosen) - route, line
バス停 (basutei) - bus stop
方面 (houmen) - direction
乗車 (jousha) – boarding
降車 (kousha) - getting off
乗車日 (jousha hi) - day of boarding
時刻表 (jikoku hyou) - timetable
通常 (tsuujou) – regular
急行 (kyuukou) - express
出発時刻 (shuppatsu jikoku) - departure time
運賃 (unchin) - passenger fare
往復 (oufuku) - round-trip
