Minamisoma History Exhibit – Middle Ages-Early Modern Period
The Namekata District began during the Middle Ages under the governance of the Soma Clan.
Many items are on display relating to the governance o the Soma Clan, religious beliefs in the Middle Ages, a model reconstruction of lodging in Haranomachi, famine and village revitalization in the Tenmei Era (1781-1789), the government of the Oshu Nakamura Domain, and the ideals of the houtoku method of repaying kindnesses.
