By using this payment method, the money required to pay your city taxes will be automatically withdrawn from your designated bank account.

The city recommends payment of city taxes, etc., by convenient and reliable bank transfers.

Bank transfers can be performed at head offices and branches nationwide at the following financial institutions.

Designated Financial Institutions

77 Bank  (Nana-Juu-Nana Ginkou/七十七銀行)

Toho Bank (Touhou Ginkou/東邦銀行)

Joyo Bank (Jouyou Ginkou/常陽銀行

Fukushima Bank (Fukushima Ginkou/福島銀行)

Daito Bank (Daitou Ginkou/大東銀行)

Abukuma Shinkin Bank (Abukuma Shinyou Kinko/あぶくま信用金庫)

SoSo Goujou Shinyou Kumiai (相双五城信用組合)

Tohoku Kurou Doukinko (東北労働金庫)

JA Bank (Fukushima Mirai Nougyou Kyoudou Kumiai/ふくしま未来農業協同組合)

Japan Post Bank/Post Office  (Yuucho Ginkou・Yuubinkyoku/ゆうちょ銀行・郵便局)

Setting Up Automatic Bank Transfers

You can apply to have your city taxes paid via transfer at your designated financial institution. The application form (Minamisoma Shizeitou Kouza Furikae Iraisho/南相馬市税等口座振替依頼書) can be found at financial institutions, Japan Post Banks, and post offices in the city. If you wish to complete the procedure at a financial institution counter outside the city, we will mail the application form to you, so please contact the Administration Section, Tax Affairs Division at city hall.

What to bring: Passbook of deposit and savings (Yochokin Tsuuchou/預貯金通帳), a notification stamp (Todokedein/届出印) for the passbook, and the hanko/personal seal of applicant

Start Date for Automatic Bank Transfers

Transfers will start at the end of the month following the application date.
