“Tire Lock” System for Delinquency in Tax Payments

In order to ensure fairness in tax burdens, if one frequently has unpaid taxes, property will be seized as a result.

Assets that are able to be seized include real estate, personal effects, salaries, deposits, savings, and so on. In some cases, we may search your residence.

In order to strengthen the punishment for delinquency in tax payments, the city will install a tire lock (and mirror lock) to further ensure fairness in tax burdens.
