Where and How to Submit Applications

You can submit your applications directly to the city hall/ward office counter, or via phone, mail, or fax. If you submit your application via mail or fax, be sure the application is completely filled out.

Opening a Water Utilities Account (使用開始届)

When building or moving to a new home, you will need to open a water utilities account. Please contact us as soon as possible during open hours.

Information Needed for Application

  • Name of user (for businesses or groups, use group name as well as well as name of representative)
  • Address for place of use (for apartments, include the building name and apartment number)
  • Address to which payment slip will be sent (if different from place of use)
  • Phone number

Bank Transfer Applications

Apply at the counter of any financial institution within the city

Making a Change to a Water Utilities Account(異動届)

You will need to submit a notification form if there is a change to the water utilities account information, such as your name, address to which payment slip will be sent, phone number, or purpose. Please contact us as soon as possible during open hours.

Information Needed for Application

When changing the user's name

  • Name of user (for businesses or groups, use group name as well as well as name of representative)
  • Address for place of use (for apartments, include the building name and apartment number)
  • Water supply number (written on the payment slip and the notification of the amount of water used)

(Note: for those in Odaka, use your guest number)

  • Reason for changing name
  • Date you would like the name to officially be changed

When changing the address of where to send the payment slip

  • Name of user (for businesses or groups, use group name as well as well as name of representative)
  • Address for place of use (for apartments, include the building name and apartment number)
  • Water supply number (written on the payment slip and the notification of the amount of water used)

(Note: for those in Odaka, use your guest number)

  • Address to which you would like the payment slip to be sent

Closing a Water Utilities Account(停止届)

If you wish to close your water utilities account because you are moving away permanently or will be away from home for an extended period of time, you will need to settle your account.

Please contact us as soon as possible during open hours upon deciding a date and time to stop your water service.

Method of settling account (on-site settling of account, send bill to new address, bank transfer)

Phone number (one that will still be in use after your move)
