Asian Giant Hornet (Suzumebachi) Extermination Reward System
Asian giant hornet nests may be harmful to humans. We will issue a reward to those who discover a hornet’s nest and report it to an extermination company.
| Eligible Parties | Those who own or rent a residence (including facilities attached to the site) and report a hornet’s nest to an extermination company. (NOTE) Business establishments are not included. |

| Reward Amount | 1/2 of the cost of removing the nest (up to 10,000 yen). (NOTE) Rounded down to the nearest 1,000 yen. |
| Application Process | Attach a copy of the extermination fee receipt, a sketch of the site, and a photo (one photo of before and after the extermination of the nest) to the Asian Giant Hornet (Suzumebachi) Extermination Reward System Application Form (Suzumebachi Kujo Houshoukin Shinseisho/スズメバチ駆除報奨金申請書). Submit it to either the Environmental Health Division or the Civic Affairs Division of each ward. |
