The Minamisoma Central Library hosts a film screening event every month. There are no assigned seats, and entry is free, so please feel free to come participate.

Summary
Although he became blind at the age of 9 and lost his hearing at the age of 18, Fukushima Satoshi became the world's first deaf-blind university professor. This movie depicts a person's life from childhood to university entrance exams, as well as the birth of braille, a means of communication that allows people to communicate with deaf-blind people in real time.
