In Minamisoma, we provide the following home care services for elderly persons.

These services have requirements such as living alone, physical condition (needs nursing care), and income restrictions.

Meal Delivery Service Business We will deliver lunch boxes to homes for elderly people who are 65 years of age or older and who have difficulty cooking meals. 1 meal is 300 yen
Mild Lifestyle Support Business We help with household chores for the elderly living alone who are 65 years of age or older. 1 hour is 200 yen (for those receiving the Seikatsu Hogo-hi/生活保護 it is free)

Elderly-Friendly Housing Development Subsidy Project
(Housing Repair Support Project)

We subsidize 90% of the renovation funds for elderly people aged 60 and over (excluding those who have been certified as needing nursing care) who are deemed to need housing renovation and whose livelihood-centered income is below the child allowance income limit. (Installation of handrails, elimination of steps, replacement with Western-style toilet seats, etc.) Amount up to 200,000: 10% of amount
 (Any amount exceeding 200,000 yen is paid by user)
Daily Life Equipment Provision Business for the Elderly We provide electromagnetic cookers and automatic fire extinguishers to households with only elderly people aged 65 and over who are exempt from city prefectural tax and who need to consider fire prevention due to deterioration of mental and physical functions (excluding those who have relatives living on the same site). Free
Daily Life Equipment Provision Business for the Elderly We provide fire alarms to households with only elderly people aged 65 and over who are exempt from city prefectural tax and who need to consider fire prevention due to deterioration of mental and physical functions (excluding those who have relatives living on the same site). Free
Daily Life Equipment Provision Business for the Elderly Welfare telephones will be lent to households with only elderly people aged 65 and over who are exempt from city prefectural tax (excluding those whose relatives live on the same site). Call Charges
Light (Kei) Car with a Wheelchair Rental Business We rent a light (kei) car that can hold a wheelchair to those who are bedridden or have difficulty going out due to severe disabilities. Free (Driving by family members, 4 times a month)
Lifestyle Support Short Stay Business We provide short-term admission to elderly homes for elderly people aged 65 and over (excluding those who have been certified as needing long-term care) who need assistance with accommodation due to illness of their caretakers (family, etc.) Meal Fees
Massage and Other Treatment Cost Subsidy Business The massage treatment fee will be subsidized in part for those who are 70 years old or older with city prefectural tax exemption or city prefectural tax only per capita rate, and those with a physical disability certificate level 1 or 2 with city prefectural tax exemption or city prefectural tax only per capita rate (1,000 yen each time) (up to 6 times a year). Amount exceeding 1,000 yen at a time
Outing Support Service Business We offer drop-offs and pick-ups at medical institutions via transportation vehicle for elderly people aged 65 and over who have difficulty using general transportation and are in households exempt from city prefectural tax. Free (Commuting to hospital, etc, 2 times a month)

Disposable Diapers Subsidy We will subsidize part of the cost of purchasing disposable diapers (3,000 yen per month) for families who are currently caring for an elderly person(s) 65 years of age or older who are bedridden or have dementia. Amount exceeding 3,000 yen per month
Family Caretaking Classrooms We will hold a classroom to teach appropriate nursing care knowledge and skills. Free
Family Caretaker Exchange Meetings We will hold an exchange meeting to not only refresh the mind and body, but to allow for caretaking family members to exchange information. Free

 

Emergency Notification System Maintenance Businesses

Emergency Notification System Maintenance Businesses We will lend a device (or mobile phone) to those who are 65 years old or older and live alone and need to ensure their safety, with the function to send a notification with the touch of a button in an emergency indoors.

Early Identification System for Wandering Elderly

A QR code sticker with the pre-registered information of an elderly person who may be found wandering (due to dementia, etc.) will be issued so that they can be identified at an early stage.

We will confirm the safety of elderly people living alone who are 65 years of age or older and need to be checked on by delivering milk drinks (Yakult).
