Special Disability Allowance

For those who are over 20 years old and have a severe disability (overlapping mental and physical disabilities), benefits are provided to such persons with severe disabilities who require special care full-time in their daily lives.

• In general, those who meet the conditions for a level 1 Physical Disability Certificate (as well as parts of level 2)
• Persons with mental, intellectual or physical disabilities who are constantly homebound and require nursing care for all activities of daily living (special medical certificate required)

• Those who are admitted to a facility, those who have a certain amount of income, those who have been hospitalized for 3 months or more.
