Welfare Allowance for Disabled Children
Benefits are provided to those who are under 20 years old (youths, and children) and have a severe disability that causes them to be homebound, requiring care full-time in their daily lives.
Who Can Apply
- In general, those who meet the conditions for a level 1 Physical Disability Certificate
- In general, those who meet the conditions for an A-level Rehabilitation Certificate
- Persons with mental, intellectual or physical disabilities who are constantly homebound and require nursing care for all activities of daily living (special medical certificate required)
Allowance Restrictions
- Those who are admitted in a facility, who have more than a certain amount of income, who receive a public pension because of their disability.
