(7/9-9/25) Soma Nomaoi Collection Exhibit
The museum will be introducing the various materials related to Soma Nomaoi that are housed here. We will be displaying a set of armor thought to have belonged to the Soma family that was only discovered in spring this year, as well as arms and armor (armor sets, horse gear, etc.) stored at the museum, Nomaoi posters from the Showa period (1926-1988) all the way up to the Heisei period (1989-2018), and more.

Armor Connected to the Soma Clan, Feudal Lords of the Nakamura Province
The museum will be displaying sets of armor, including a "chestnut-color-coated vertically fletched two-piece full-body armor" (left photo) which was only discovered in the spring of this year and is thought to have belonged to the Soma Clan.
